Food by Julie is an established business with considerable knowledge and expertise catering for funeral receptions.  Our superb home-made food is tailored to your precise requirements and prepared using the finest quality ingredients, beautifully presented.  Our friendly and discreet staff are on hand to ensure that your reception runs smoothly. 

Quite simply, we are dedicated to providing a genuine bespoke service that takes care of every element of the catering.  We can provide china, cutlery, glassware, linen and napkins and any other requirements needed including fresh flowers for the reception. 

Julie will arrange to visit you to discuss your requirements and where possible, will visit the venue beforehand to ensure that the facilities available are suitable for us to undertake the catering we have been appointed to undertake.

MENUS
In terms of menus, the type of food and how substantial it needs t be very much depends on the time of day refreshments are required.  You may wish to have something simple such as an Afternoon Tea style or Canapés, a Sandwich Buffet with an added selection of savoury morsels, or something more elaborate such as a Fork Buffet.  Where possible we can also offer hot food.

SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIRMENTS
We always anticipate that there will be some form of special dietary needs and we will be happy to discuss these at the time of booking.

STAFF

We will provide the necessary service staff to look after your guests for the duration of the reception.  They will be smartly dressed, and on hand to ensure that everything runs smoothly on the day.

 

SERVICES

If not available at a venue, we can arrange for the provision of the necessary China, Cutlery, Glassware and Linen which will form part of the quotation, as well as tea/coffee making equipment, in fact everything that is needed for the Reception: serving platters, napkins, utensils etc.

 

DRINKS

If you are considering offering alcoholic beverages, we can also assist with providing wine, fizz, beers, etc. on a sale or return basis.  Soft drinks can also be supplied.

 

FLOWER ARRANGEMENTS

Please advise if you would like Food by Julie to assist with the provision of any flowers for your Reception, whether these be informal flowers in vintage jugs or something more elaborate.
