We may only be able to cater for lesser numbers currently, but hope to be back in full swing very soon. Food by Julie is a well established bespoke catering company with 30 plus years experience providing delightful, delicious and creative food, beautifully and stylishly presented for both private and corporate clients across Berkshire and the Thames Valley, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Hampshire, coupled with a personalised service tailored to each individual client's requirements.
Our contemporary menus reflect tasty, flavoursome hand made dishes and exploit the very best of seasonal foods and are specially designed for Weddings, Private Parties, Functions and Special Occasions, Canape Receptions and Dinner Parties, Business Lunches and Events. We can also offer a range of services to complement our food such as China and Glassware Hire, Catering Equipment, Linen, Refrigeration, Service Staff and a party planning service if required.
At Food by Julie, we are excited about food and the magnificent wealth of ingredients available to us today that inspire us to create superb classic and contemporary dishes to suit any occasion. Every dish is lovingly and skillfully prepared from scratch focussing on healthy, flavoursome and beautifully presented food. We favour locally sourced foods and home grown produce such as foraged and homegrown fruits and herbs, bottled fruit juice and cordials, beers, honey, fresh meat and vegetables, cheeses and bread flour.
As a skilled professional cook, Food by Julie specialises not only in English and French inspired dishes, but also celebrates classic dishes from around the world made possible by the infinite range of exotic foods so widely available.
Other areas where we may be of assistance might include Florists, Cake Makers, Musicians, Entertainers and Special Effects etc.
As part of the hire service, all equipment is delivered to a venue one or two days prior to an event in pristine condition and following an event, all of the dirty equipment is collected and washed up off site.
Initially, Julie will be delighted to furnish potential customers with sample menus and information relevant to their impending event, together with an estimated cost based on outline details provided at the outset.
A more comprehensive quotation will be prepared following a meeting with the client to discuss their specific requirements and every aspect of the event with all the options available and with careful consideration to tiny detail.
If we are required to supply the drinks, we will simply charge only for what is consumed plus glassware, bar staff and any extras relating to the service of drinks.

Our staff are friendly, polite and efficient, and will be on hand to assist you and your guests during the course of your event.
An Event Supervisor or Front of House personnel is generally recommended for weddings and larger events acting as a co-ordinator and ensuring that your event runs smoothly.
